organic cold-pressed olive oil
organic jojoba oil
bucha leaf oil
galbanum resin oil
organic essential oils -
sweet orange, pink grapefruit, white cognac, lime, bergamot
Sunkissed is the perfect whipped tallow blend for those warm summer days! Sunkissed has a sweet citrus-y scent - as if you've just been kissed by summer. Some of the essential oils used in this blend are not intended for use directly on children. If you're looking for an unscented option (or one you can add your own oils to), checkout our Plain Jane blend. Sunkissed can be used as a daily all-over moisturizer or just for target areas. We render all of our tallow blends ourselves from 100% grass-fed + finished beef suet from local farms in IN/KY. All of our products are completely handmade in small batches with lots of love. Tallow comes from suet, which is the fat surrounding the kidneys. Tallow has so many beneficial properties and has been used for literal centuries to heal and moisturize the skin. Tallow is super absorbent and provides immediate availability to the skin. It's loaded with vitamins A, D, K, E and B12. Many use tallow skincare as a daily moisturizer, but it can also be used for skin conditions/rashes such as eczema and psoriasis. In our house, we use tallow for cooking and skincare, including lip balm, deodorant and a facial moisturizer. It's great for fine lines and wrinkles.
We do not use any artificial ingredients/preservatives in our tallow. It's important to store out of the heat and to keep water and bacteria out of your jar. Tallow is very shelf stable and is generally good for up to a year without issue.
